Escape room adventures are our passion, and we’re fully dedicated to every aspect of your experience at Crack the Code. Unlike other NH escape room businesses, we don’t buy cookie-cutter, massed-produced room designs.
Our rooms are designed for up to 10 people. Our Digital Mayhem room requires a minimum of 4 people to play. For our other rooms, we strongly recommend groups of at least 4 people for the best experience.
We have a team of room designers with diverse backgrounds that personally creates, tests, and perfects our rooms with 100% original content. Our escape room experiences are one of a kind, designed with the highest standards to ensure you the most imaginative, authentic and enjoyable experience possible. We guarantee it.
Escape rooms are a new concept in entertainment — a live-action game starring you and your friends as you solve puzzles, complete challenges, and decipher clues to complete a mission and escape the room! At Crack the Code, we developed the first escape room in the New Hampshire lakes region. Our innovative team designs all of our games with creative realism and attention to detail.
For safety reasons, there is always an unlocked door that you can use to leave the room at any time. For the best experience, however, we recommend that you use it only in an emergency.
During your game, you can ask for help if you need it. If you fail to complete the room, we will be glad to walk you through the remixing steps and answer any questions you have.
Our games, though not gory or inappropriate, are designed for the skill level of players 14 and older. But we love children, and in two of our rooms, they are welcome to play along if they want to! In Blackbeard’s Revenge and KGBe Careful, participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
In Digital Mayhem, however, all participants must be at least 15 years old. This is for your safety and enjoyment. No exceptions!
Please use our booking system to book your game at least an hour in advance and plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking time to fill out our form, and ensure you get the full hour in your room.
You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your start time.
Customers who arrive more than 2 minutes after an escape room experience starts will not be permitted to enter an experience that has already begun. Instead, they will be offered entry into the next available escape room or will be able to book for another date/time. Customers should always arrive 10 minutes prior to an experience beginning.
Empty slots for a room may be filled by other people who book the same time slot. If you would like to be guaranteed have the room for your group alone, you will need to book all the spaces available in your time slot the room at an additional charge.
If you want a private experience, you can book an entire room, which will allow you to have up to 8-10 people, depending upon the room. If you don’t book the room, there’s a chance that others will book the other available spots. The potential of meeting and playing with new people is something many players enjoy and can add to the overall experience.
Photographs and video recording are not allowed in the rooms. We put a lot of time and effort into the design and construction of our rooms, so we don’t want spoilers for players who haven’t had a chance to enjoy them yet.
You are welcome, however, to take photos and videos in our hallway or lobby using our leader board or other props we provide to help you to remember your experience and brag about your skills!
Absolutely! We love to customize events that encourage cooperation and communication among professional team members. Just let us know what you are looking for, and we will be happy to plan your event with you. See more information about special events here.
